Montclair Boys Fencing wrapped up the 2024-2025 season with a 3-7 overall record and 3-6 in-state. The team picked up key wins against St. Benedict’s (16-11), Columbia (15-12), and West Essex (15-12), while falling short in close contests like the 14-13 loss to Oratory.
The Saber squad struggled with a 17-73 record in the weapon breakdown, while Foil delivered a balanced 46-44. Epee was the strongest, posting a 51-41 record. Standout individual performances included Nathaniel Sena (Foil, 18-8), Connor Sherwin (Foil, 17-8), Diego Aguirre (Epee, 16-8), and Tanuj Shirkhedkar (Epee, 14-9).
Montclair will look to refine its lineup next season after a competitive, though uneven, campaign.
