The Montclair High School Hockey Team embarked on their second game of the season in South Brunswick, securing a convincing 4-0 victory. Senior Sam Rotella once again spearheaded the offensive charge, initiating the scoring for the Mounties with a power play goal in the first period. Rotella added another goal before the period concluded, propelling the Mounties into the second with a solid 2-0 lead.

Maintaining their control of the game in the second period, the Mounties witnessed Rotella complete a hat trick, burying a goal with 8:43 remaining. As the team transitioned into the third period, they sustained their pressure, culminating in sophomore Jack Dunne's inaugural goal with the team. This game showcased another dominant performance by the Mounties, elevating their record to 2-0 while impressively holding their opponents scoreless for a total of 90 minutes.
