Livingston edged Montclair 55-52 in a thrilling overtime contest, handing the Mounties their third consecutive loss. Livingston’s Zach Smith was a force, dropping a game-high 18 points, while Ben Langer’s clutch performance in overtime sealed the win with a game-winning buzzer-beater. Montclair battled back from a 13-point halftime deficit, outscoring Livingston in a dominant third quarter to make it 42-39. La’Mear Singletary led the Mounties with 19 points, adding four steals to his stat line. Montclair couldn’t overcome Livingston’s balanced attack despite a strong all-around effort. Livingston’s Tyler Katz added 13 points, while Montclair’s Martin Quiros contributed 9 points and 6 rebounds. The Mounties’ record now stands at 3-6, as they look to regroup after a tough loss.
