On Thursday, the Montclair Mounties dominated the Millburn Millers, securing a decisive 68-51 win.
Montclair wasted no time taking control, jumping out to a commanding 16-5 lead after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 33-12 by halftime. Senior Martin Quiros led the team with an impressive 20 points, while junior Mason Determan added another 16 points to fuel the Mounties’ offense.
While Millburn made a push in the second half, Montclair maintained their composure, closing out the third quarter with a 14-point lead and finishing strong to seal the victory.
With the win, Montclair improved to 5-6. The victory marked a key bounce-back performance for the Mounties, who will look to carry their momentum into upcoming games.
